Kagen To Hold Open Forum On 2007 Farm Bill
(WASHINGTON, D.C.) Congressman Steve Kagen, M.D. is inviting the agricultural community to join him for a forum on the 2007 Farm Bill to be held Thursday April 5th from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay.
The forum will focus primarily on issues concerning dairy and livestock producers. Representatives from agriculture organizations including the Wisconsin Dairy Business Association, Upper Midwest Dairy Coalition, the Wisconsin Farmers Union and the Wisconsin Farm Bureau will be present.
There will be Q&A on the farm bill and the Congressman encourages everyone interested in the Farm Bill to participate.
Congressman Kagen serves on the House Agriculture Committee. He is the only member of Wisconsin’s Congressional delegation on the committee.
