(WASHINGTON, D.C.) Statement by Congressman Steve Kagen, M.D. on the Administration’s proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2008:

“My impression of the Administration’s proposed budget is more of the same – it is fiscally irresponsible and it asks our children and grandchildren to pay for our mistakes.

“The proposed budget as offered fails to admit the real costs of the war in Iraq, the real costs of fixing our broken tax code and realistic projections of federal revenues.”
