Crivitz Firefighters Win $93,000 Grant

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) The Crivitz Volunteer Fire Department has received a $92,991 grant from the Homeland Security Department, Congressman Steve Kagen, M.D. announced today.

The department will use the grant to upgrade its radio equipment, purchase turnout gear and self-contained breathing apparatus, the air bottles firefighters use to breather in smoky environments.

The Crivitz Volunteer Fire Department received funding through the Homeland Security Department’s Assistance to Firefighters Grants program.
